Getting started with Crossmart

Crossmart keeps one catalog and one stock ledger for your business, and publishes them to every store you connect. You add a product once, choose the stores it sells on, and Crossmart creates and updates the listings there. When an order arrives from any store, its stock is held at once and every other store gets the new quantity, so you don’t sell what you no longer have.

Everything you do in the dashboard, at app.crossmart.io, can also be done by an AI agent or through the REST API.

Word Meaning
Workspace One business, with its own catalog, stock, stores, orders and members. An organization (your account) can hold several.
Product A catalog item with a title, description, images and tags, and one or more variants (such as sizes or colours), each with its own SKU, price and stock.
Channel A place you sell, such as Shopify or eBay. See Channels.
Store One connected account on a channel: a Shopify store, or an eBay account on one marketplace. You can connect several stores of the same channel.
Listing A product on one store. Each listing has a state and can show the product differently in that store.
Pricing rule How a store prices every product: a markup or discount, rounding, a floor. See Pricing.
Suggestion A change proposed by Crossmart’s AI, such as a new title for one store. Nothing changes until a person approves it in Suggestions.
Proposal A change an AI agent you connected wants to make. It waits in Agent proposals until you approve it, unless you let agents apply changes directly.
  1. Connect a store. Open Channels, pick the channel and click Connect. You approve Crossmart on the channel’s own site. See Connect a store.

  2. Add your products. Create them in Products, import a Shopify product export in Imports, or import the catalog of a connected Shopify store.

  3. Finish the store’s setup. Some channels need details before they can publish, such as eBay’s business policies and ship-from address. The store’s page says what is missing.

  4. Publish. Add products to the store from the product’s page, from the products table, or with the store’s automatic rule. See Publish products.

  5. Check the listings. The store’s Listings tab shows where each product stands, and what to fix when a store refuses one. See Listing states.

Every member of a workspace has a role. Owners and Admins connect stores and set pricing rules; Editors manage products and stock and publish them; Approvers review AI suggestions; Viewers can look but not change anything. See Roles and permissions for the full list.

Plans differ by the number of active listings, connected stores and other limits. See the plans at crossmart.io/#pricing. Your current plan and usage are under Settings → Plan & usage.
